Ever wondered what makes a good leader? Join Ray McLean,  director of Leading Teams for an interactive workshop to discuss and work through various leadership skills.

Leading Teams is a Melbourne based company that works with elite sporting teams, schools and private corporations across Australia and aims to improve organisation performance by aligning teams and develeoping leaders. Join guest speaker Craig Ives, a Certified Financial Planner with WHK as he discusses financial strategies and goes through some case studies.

NEWS

Raising Dust Inc. took out the major award at the Regional Achievement and Community Awards held at the Mecure Hotel, Ballarat on the evening of October 10th. RDi was recognised as the Kleenheat Gas Community of the Year (population over 5000), chosen as the winner from a vast amount of entries from all over the state. Our president Kelly and committee members Gabs, Ben, Jo and Jess all attended the gala evening and were impressed and inspired by the quality of entries and delighted to accept the award on behalf of the entire RDi gang

Past Events

We’ll be having a marquee at the Dunkeld Races once
again this year. Come along and enjoy a great day out–
put on that glam race day outfit, have a flutter and who
knows, maybe even watch a race! More details about the location of our marquee on the day will be circulated soon so watch this space.

The third Raising Dust AGM is coming up soon! Forget the boring “sitting around a table” style meeting. No, no no! In true Raising Dust style, our AGM will be a wine, beer and cheese tasting at Seppelt, Great Western with the formalities thrown in there somewhere!
It will be a great event with plenty of opportunities to catch up with friends you’ve already met through RDi and meet new people but it’s also a really important day for setting the future direction of our group. We’re always looking for new people to join our committees so if you’re interested,  email us or give Kel a call on 0439 722 985 for more details.
Everyone is welcome to come along to the AGM and we
look forward to seeing plenty of new faces there. Whether you’re interested in joining the committee or just want to hear about what we’ve been up to and what we’ve got planned for the next 12 months, come along and enjoy a relaxed Saturday arvo with great wine and cheese and most importantly, great company!

Each year Raising Dust aim to hold a major social event, last year we held the highly successful Murder Mystery night at J-ward, this year we are returning to a ball format.

Get out your dress or tie and dance the night away to live music at the Tatyoon Hall. Finger food and beer and wine are provided, tickets cost $75 for members or $85 for non-members. Buses will be running from Horsham, Stawell, Ararat and Hamilton with pickups along the way. Download our flyer here. Join us on a bus trip to see Geelong vs Essendon at Etihad Stadium (previously Telstra Dome). Buses will be departing from Horsham, Ararat and Stawell, returning later that evening. Tickets are $75 for members, $85 non members which includes bus fare and entry to the game.

East Grampians Health Service professionals presented information on topics including spinal care, nutrition and preventative health care. Blood pressure and hearing tests were conducted and a fitness instructor showcased a range of gym classes available
Raising Dust members enjoyed an enjoyable 9 hole Ambrose competition at the Stawell Golf Club, followed by a BBQ.
Raising Dust hired a marquee for the day and it was a great opportunity for Raising Dust members to catch up and socialise.
A fun night held at J-Ward in Ararat, guests enjoyed a delicious 3 couse meal while trying to decipher clues and figure out who was the murderer.
